Before this, he edited and directed various short films, serving as an assistant director to Vineeth Sreenivasan for "Thira" (2013). His feature film debut was the Tamil-Malayalam bilingual "Vaayai Moodi Pesavum" (2014), earning praise for his flawless editing. Abhinav continued his successful editing career, contributing to films like "You too Brutus" (2015), "Uriyadi" (2016), "Aanandam" (2016), "Kurangu Bommai" (2017), and "Godha" (2017). Beyond editing, he crafted trailers for notable films such as "Thira" (2013), "Oru Vadakkan Selfie" (2015), and "Njandukalude Naattil Oridavela" (2017).
