She appeared in films such as Big Stan (2007), The Horse Whisperer (1998), and C Me Dance (2009). She also voiced Mrs. Pepper in the children's series Blue’s Clues. In theater, she performed in Don’t Dress for Dinner (2012) on Broadway. She has received multiple awards for her work, including the Clarence Derwent Award and the Outer Critics Circle Award. Kayden is the sister of film director Michael Almereyda and has been married to actor Mark Harelik since 2004. They have one child together.
