Mangesh Desai (born 28 June 1972) is an Indian actor, who works in the Marathi film industry. He made his acting in 2006 with Divasen Divas. Mangesh is perhaps best known for portraying "Bhagwan Dada" in Ekk Albela (2016). Vidya Balan who starred opposite Mangesh made her acting debut in Marathi with the movie. In 2017 Ashok Shinde starred alongside Ashok Samarth, Ashok Shinde, Megha Ghadge and Nisha Parulekar in director Kailash Mali's Dandit. He was associated with the 2018 movie Hichyasathi Kay Pan directed by Milind Dastane and Viju Mane's Monkey Baat. His 2019 releases included Judgement and Laal Batti.
